Hello and thank you for visiting this site.
I am a Yorkshire based sculptor and work in a variety of different mediums including resin cast, mixed media and ceramic art. My sculpture is generally based around the human form, however I often manipulate this image in order to serve modern themes, most prominently mental health and the complexity of the human condition.
In constructing work mainly concerned with such serious issues, I try to incorporate humour and ridiculousness wherever possible in the firm belief that this is one of our greatest coping strategies and as a reminder of the self-destructive effects of taking life too seriously. Please have a look around the gallery of past and present work and the blog posts (which I continuously promise myself to update more regularly). I try to keep a record of my older work and generally post EVERYTHING (whether I am happy with it or not) either on here or my Instagram feed (link on contacts). I do so in the belief that mistakes are a positive step to achievements and through an awareness that the internet so infrequently documents anything but the end of this long journey.
Please feel free to contact with any enquiries, questions or queries either through social media links or the main contact page.
