About Me

Hopeful, honest, accepting.

I'm a gay man and I bring that lived experience into the room. You don't need to explain yourself here. I work online with adults across the UK, Ireland and Europe, specialising in supporting LGBTQ+ clients navigating identity, anxiety, relationships and shame.

I work with a relational, body-aware approach, drawing on Somatic Experiencing and ecotherapy to help you move at a pace that feels right.

If you've spent years managing, masking, or feeling like the real you takes up too much space, therapy can be a place to unlearn that.

Practice
01

Person-Centred Therapy

Focused on your needs, wants and wishes, in a space that empowers self-discovery and self-acceptance.

What this looks like

We go at your pace. There is no agenda, no diagnosis, no fixing. You lead; I follow. Sessions feel like a conversation with someone who is fully on your side.

Who it suits

Anyone who has felt unseen, unheard, or like they have to perform a version of themselves for the world. This is a place to drop that.

The evidence

Person-centred therapy has decades of research behind it. Its core conditions, empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard, remain the strongest predictors of therapeutic change.

02

Queer-Informed Practice

Specialist support for the LGBTQ+ community. Space held without needing to explain yourself.

What this looks like

You will not need to educate me on queer identity, coming out, or the weight of heteronormativity. I already understand. We can get straight to what matters to you.

Who it suits

LGBTQ+ adults navigating identity, relationships, family dynamics, shame, or the particular exhaustion of living in a world not built for you.

My background

As a gay man myself, I bring lived experience as well as clinical training. The room holds both. You are not a case study here.

03

Somatic Experiencing

Working with the body as much as the mind, because your body knows before your brain does.

What this looks like

We might notice where you feel tension, numbness, or a sense of bracing. Gently, slowly, we work to complete what the nervous system got stuck on. No force, no drama.

Who it suits

People carrying anxiety, trauma, or a sense of being permanently on edge, even when life looks fine on paper. Often helpful when talking alone has not been enough.

The approach

Somatic Experiencing was developed by Dr Peter Levine. It works with the body's natural capacity to heal, supporting the nervous system to move from survival into safety.

04

Ecotherapy

Sessions held outdoors as well as online, using the natural world as a grounding co-therapist.

What this looks like

We walk and talk, or we sit in a green space together. Nature is not a backdrop here, it is part of the therapy. The rhythm of walking, the quality of light, the ground beneath your feet.

Who it suits

Anyone who finds it easier to open up when not sitting face to face. Or those who feel most themselves outside. Or those who are simply drawn to something different.

The evidence

Time in nature measurably reduces cortisol and supports nervous system regulation. Combined with skilled therapeutic presence, it creates conditions for something quietly transformative.

"I love supporting clients to find safety in their own systems again; gently, with curiosity, and free from judgment. We start exactly where we are, paying attention to the stories of our bodies and minds."
